Amy E. Brownlee spent her childhood exploring local history at the city’s museums, parks, and libraries, and then the first 10 years of her career as a staff editor at Cincinnati Magazine. She has uncovered hundreds of timely stories for longform feature articles, neighborhood profiles, and restaurant reviews, and her byline is a deep bench of Cincinnati faces and places.

A licensed high school English teacher, she has earned degrees in English Literature from Miami University and University of Cincinnati.
